- Performances are at the Northbrook Theatre (3323 Walters Ave, Northbrook, IL 60062)
- Running Time 2 hours 30 minutes which includes a 15-minute intermission
- Appropriate for children ages 10 and above
Auditions will be held Sunday, June 12 (10 am - 2 pm) and Monday, June 13 (6:30-9:30 pm). Audition appointments are recommended but walk-ins are also welcome. Callbacks are by invitation only on Thursday, June 16th in the evening. Auditions and callbacks will be held at West Ridge Center, 636 Ridge Road in Highland Park. WHAT TO PREPARE FOR YOUR AUDITION:
ADULTS (stage age 18+)
- Prepare 30-60 seconds of a pop/rock song or show tune. Bring piano sheet music in your key
- Prepare 8 bars of “Faculty Quadrille.” You may be asked to sing these in several keys. Sheet music provided below and linked here.
- Singing from the show is permitted.
- You may be asked to read from the script.
ALL KIDS (stage age 9-13)
- Prepare 30-60 seconds of a pop/rock song or show tune to sing at your in-person audition. Bring piano sheet music in your key.
- Are you a rocker who has never done this before? Not sure what to sing or where to get sheet music? That’s okay! Come on in and sing “Happy Birthday!”
- Singing from the show is permitted.
- You may be asked to read from the script.
KIDS INTERESTED IN THE ROLES OF ZACH (electric guitar), FREDDIE (drums), LAWRENCE (keyboard), KATIE (electric bass) - these roles can be played by all genders:
